Job Description

The Le Roy Central School District has an anticipated opening for a 1.0 FTE elementary special education teacher at our Wolcott Street Elementary School beginning in September 2026.

We are seeking an individual to join our successful special education department.  Le Roy CSD has a proud tradition of academic excellence and maintains high behavioral standards.  We have a very diverse and vast course catalog that allows our students to challenge themselves and expand their horizons.  We look forward to hiring an individual that will have a positive impact on our school community.

Job Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate will:

• NYS Certification in Students with Disabilities
• Manage the academic, social and emotional needs of students with disabilities
• Support the instruction and evaluation of students with disabilities
• Develop and support the implementation of the Individualed Education Program (IEP) for students with disabilities
• Serve as liaison between students, general education teachers, CSE, and families.
